Who We Are

Twilight Engineering Solutions Ltd supports the delivery of building projects across the UK construction industry by providing reliable technical delivery, coordination, and engineering expertise.

We help turn ideas, sketches, and concepts into clear, coordinated, construction-ready information, aligned with the RIBA Plan of Work and delivered in line with ISO 19650 principles. Our role is to take pressure off project teams and make project delivery smoother, more organised, and more dependable.

Why We Do What We Do

We started Twilight Engineering Solutions because we saw a recurring challenge across live projects:

  1. highly capable teams spending too much time managing production, coordination, and technical resolution — instead of focusing on design quality, decision-making, and project leadership.
  2. We are driven by a genuine passion for engineering, coordination, and problem-solving. We enjoy being the team behind the scenes that helps complex work feel structured, calm, and under control — particularly during stages where coordination and information quality matter most.

Who We Help

We work with a wide range of clients across the building industry, including:

What We Do & How We Work

We support projects from early feasibility through to construction and handover, working across both CAD and BIM environments and within any major industry platform.

Our services are structured around the RIBA Plan of Work (Stages 0–7) and delivered in accordance with ISO 19650, using clear workflows, coordinated information delivery, and Common Data Environment (CDE) principles where applicable.

One Point of Technical Support (RIBA Stages 0–6)

For architects, engineers, property developers, contractors, and end clients, we can confidently act as a single point of technical support, travelling with projects from RIBA Stage 0 through to Stage 6 — from scratch to finish.

Our involvement can begin wherever a project requires support, including:

01
Measured surveys and laser scanning coordination
02
Early feasibility, spatial studies, and technical advice
03
Architectural, structural, and MEP design development
04
CAD and BIM modelling and coordination
05
Technical design and fully coordinated IFC-ready packages
06
Construction-stage technical support
07
As-built documentation and handover deliverables

How We Work With Our Clients

We are a hands-on, flexible practice and adapt our working style to suit each client and project.

Depending on your preference, we are happy to:

  • Attend site visits and in-person meetings
  • Work collaboratively through Teams or other digital platforms
  • Integrate directly into your existing workflows and systems

There is no fixed way of working — we adjust to what works best for you.

This flexibility allows us to significantly reduce coordination effort and management time for our clients, while maintaining clear communication and dependable delivery.

Supporting Structural & MEP Engineers

For architectural practices, we act as a technical delivery and coordination partner, helping manage production-heavy stages while fully respecting design authorship and intent.

We provide:

  • RIBA Stage 3 and Stage 4 drawing packages
  • Architectural design development and technical detailing
  • CAD and BIM production aligned with office standards
  • BIM model development aligned with agreed Levels of Information Need
  • Coordinated and IFC-ready deliverables
  • Consultant coordination where required, delivering a single coordinated technical package

Supporting Architects

For engineering teams, we provide integrated design, modelling, and coordination support across RIBA Stages 2–6.

This includes:

  • Engineering design and calculations
  • Structural and MEP BIM modelling and detailing
  • Installation and construction-phase technical support
  • Fully coordinated technical packages aligned with architectural information
  • As-built and handover support where required

Our approach ensures engineering information is accurate, coordinated, and aligned with the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Supporting Contractors & Delivery Teams

For main contractors and delivery-focused teams, we provide construction-stage technical and information support, helping maintain coordination and clarity on live projects.

This includes:

  • Responses to RFIs and technical queries
  • Model and drawing updates reflecting site conditions
  • Ongoing coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP information
  • Support with record information and digital handover deliverables

Our involvement helps reduce site-stage issues, minimise rework, and maintain continuity between design and construction information.

Supporting Property Developers & End Clients (RIBA Stages 0–6)

For property developers and end clients, we provide end-to-end technical design and coordination support, guiding projects from feasibility through construction and handover.

We can act as a single technical delivery partner, managing architectural, structural, MEP, BIM, and coordination workflows.

By acting as a single technical point of delivery, we help:

  • Reduce consultant management effort
  • Improve coordination and information clarity
  • Manage risk across design and construction stages
  • Maintain confidence from early decisions through to handover

Early Feasibility & Brief Development (Stages 0–1)

  • Feasibility reviews and early technical advice
  • Spatial and massing studies
  • Initial structural and MEP strategy input
  • BIM and digital delivery strategy input

Concept & Design Development (Stages 2–3)

  • Architectural design development and coordination
  • Structural and MEP concept design
  • BIM modelling and spatial coordination
  • Early clash detection and risk identification

Technical Design & Coordination (Stage 4)

  • Architectural, structural, and MEP technical design
  • Coordinated CAD and BIM deliverables
  • Fully coordinated IFC-ready models
  • One clear, coordinated technical package prepared for construction

Construction Support (Stage 5)

  • Responses to RFIs and site-stage technical queries
  • Coordination updates reflecting site conditions
  • Ongoing multidisciplinary coordination support

Handover & Close-Out (Stage 6)
